Transformed

I picked this Christmas tray up at GW for $1.50, it even had the glass insert, that made it even better.
The top picture is what it looks like now. With a little paint, some lace, vintage photo's & scrapbook paper. I hate that it will be for sale at my booth, I so want to keep it.
I really have to keep myself from keeping everything or I'll be on the episode of hoarders.
~
Tomorrow is the day I'll be setting up my booth space, I had an idea of how I wanted everything to look at my booth, but I didn't get it all finished, oh well I'll be woking on it all week to get everything in and set up. I'll take picks of my booth tomorrow and post them.
~
Have A Blessed Weekend,
Melissa

It's Crunch Time

Ok, there is alot to do before Saturday, why you ask, Saturday is the day I move into my new booth space...so excited....but I'm such a procrastinator, there is so much to be done.
Here somethings I got done today.
these chairs needed new seat covers, so I saw this on the graphic fairys blog and had to try it. It took me forever to figure out how to set my printer to do a mirrored image, but I did.

This chair with the bird was my first one I did, can you see the dimond shape marks from my ironing board, oh well next time I'll know better.

these two chairs go with the table I'm painting white below..

oh yea the hutch, there was a broken glass in it when I bought the hutch, so I got it for a good price, I still need to add lace to the door. To keep the price low I went to GW and got an old lace curtain for 3$ to put in the door .

This table and chair set is already sold but I had to add it in the mix, because the next one I get will go into the booth.

some sweet little childs items...

I did a couple of pieces in pink,

and I have to do a section in cottage primitive,
I love this old bread box, the original label and paint on it..

This was made out of old sewing machine drawers..

and these old toys are so adorable..

Ok so ALOT more to do, I have two large book cases, a side board, some picture frames and more to paint, alot of items to price, and alot of vintage rustic wood pieces to clean up.
Better get off here and get busy. Well maybe tomorrow, it is midnight.
I have to tell ya, my hubby rocks, he has been helping me to paint to get this all ready, well really I have been helping him.

Until Later,

And The Winner Is

And The Winner Is..........
Ok before I go any farther, I have to say.....
I was so happy to have such a great response on my 100 post giveaway that moments before I did my drawing I decided to have one winner that will receive all the loot and one runner up to receive a small surprise gift..
I breathed a prayer to God before drawing the winner asking Him to let me pick the person that He wanted to receive this giveaway. I believe with all my heart that God is a God of detail, I believe He is concerned about every area of our lives no matter how big or small, even this giveaway
With that said , I proceeded with the drawing. The first name I drew was
Mona @ http://www.lalabymona.blogspot.com/ With a couple of shakes of the jar I went in for the second name, get ready for this, your not going to believe it, the second name was the same as the first . Wow I thought I was Gods favorite but I think Mona has one up on me, her name was drawn twice.
Congratulations Mona you will be receiving not one but two packages.
You must be blessed...

I have to be honest, when I drew Mona twice I almost put her second name back since she was the first winner, but then I remembered the prayer, I take that serious I don't mess with God.....

To all of you that didn't win please go visit Mona @ http://www.lalabymona.blogspot.com/ and tell her Congratulations.

Thanks To all who participated, I had loads of fun reading all your comments and visiting your blogs.

God Bless,
Melissa
