A Day Rummaging At A Local Craft & Antique Fair

Yes I bought the letters, there was no way I could pass them up

Old linens,

Don't shot, I'm the good guy!!

Looking at the sun, that was awesome to see a hugh red ball of fire.

checking out some other planets..

Handmade game boards, these items were just beautiful, the inlay work in the game boards was just phenomenal..

Hand dipped bees wax candles, had to have some of those..

Tanner got to dip his own candles..

got to love topiaries, the plant this lady used was called Myrtle, I must pick some of this up at my local nursery..

I want, I want , Iwant this car, I just want the real deal. I can see myself and a friend out on a saturday morning junkin , don't worry it has a trunk, I'll fit some stuff in it.

Tanner wants this one.. but opted not to spend his money quite yet.

toleware pins another item I collect, I didn't buy any of these, priced to high..

Ineed another chandelier, but was the same deal as the pins to high of a price, I'll keep looking.
handmade brooms. Tanner got one for his dad, he will love it, thats the only kind of broom he will use in his work shop.
Oh my guy stuff..

ran into a fellow blogger, top to pic's of her space

time out for some fun..

old crate labels

antique & vintage boxes galore

this is what he spent his money on..

Grill to a Mustang Fast Back, Tanner has wanted a mustang since he was a couple years younger than he is now, and he will have to wait a few more years before that happens, but for now this will do, maybe he will have one sooner than later if he buys it one piece at a time. My boy is a true junk junkie. His dad is going to make him a shelf and mount the Mustang grill to it.

Chick feeder, it came home with me.. Not sure where it will endup but I know I'll love it..
Now that my shop is closed I have more time on weekend to spend out and about with my family and I have to say I'm lovin it..
Thanks for stopping by,

I'll Never Forget

I'll Never Forget the day Americans came together as one.
There were no republicans or democrates,
there were no religious different's .
there was no ethnic race prejudice,
there was only one Nation Under God.
I'll Never Forget the day All Americans stood together to help our fellow man.
I'll Never Forget the days of silence as if we were all waiting to hear from God.
I'll Never Forget 9/11
God Bless,

A Day With A Friend

Lots to see here!!!! 3 floors of STUFF wonderful STUFF

Lucketts General Store was our first and last stop, Barb just had to go back to get this painting. She said its for her daughters apartment, but I also heard her say it would look great above her fireplace. Wonder were this painting will call home?

The Bee Keepers Cottage, Awwww luxury. Barb lets go, you have to get up now, I have room in the van if you want it, don't go to sleep we have alot of shopping to do.
If going to the Bee Keepers Cottage and want to make a purchase bring lots of $$$$$$ this chair was $798.00, but has you can see it may be worth every penny, it was comfy...

Next stop right down the road was On A Whim, just love it, all the white shabby chic furniture at great prices. 2 floors of great STUFF! A must if in Leesburg!!

There it is The Cottage, love this place. If you like shabby cottage, chippy paint, weathered, worn and wonderful stuff this is the place, very cozy...

Barb and I leaving The Cottage. another must if in Leesburg!

Streeets of Leesburg VA

I stepped out of my box and had luch at The Wine Kitchen, so glad I did, it was wonderfuly delightful..

My lunch was a grilled goats cheese with a slice of real ham ( not lunch meat) and a salad with a raspberry vinegar dressing, ice tea to drink with a vanilla sweetener.

This may be Barb and I's regular place to have lunch when we visit Leesburg..

Cute little shop lots of nice things at four shabby chicks, Barb loved the pink cowgirl hat, looked good on her...

My purchases at On A Whim I got a wonderful vintage bracelet & a box of scented drawer Liners, I love to open my drawers in my bedroom and have a sweet smell hit my nose instead of the smell of the wood drawers...

at The Cottage I had to have these vintage scales and this birds nest, I just love it!!!

At Lucketts General Store, A box of stamps that screams PARIS , oh the thing I can make with these, tags for gifts, scrapbooking, christmas ornaments....
Barb has worked for The Vintage Attic for 6 years, For 6 years we have been saying lets go to Leesburg together and shop, but the days Barb worked Iwas off, the days I worked Barb was off, so now were both off and have time to spend together just being friends..
What a wonderful day we had, can't wait to do it again ..
